MEADVILLE - Lenora Frances Schneider of Meadville, died, January 22, 2019 at Wesbury United Methodist Community. She was born February 17, 1921 in Midland, MD, the daughter of the late John A. and Frances M Briner. She married Frederick W. Schneider on June 20, 1940 in Cumberland, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, a son Frederick W. Schneider, Jr. a grandson James Frederick Schneider, two sisters, Margaret M. Lynch and Kathleen M. Wolz; and four brothers, John, Leo, Richard and William Briner. She was a member of St. Agatha Catholic Church and St. Agatha Alter Rosary Society in Meadville, PA. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia A. Hall and her husband Terry of Lovettsville, VA and one daughter-in-law Johanna R. Schneider of Cochranton, PA; four grandchildren, William F. Schneider and his wife Heather of Panama, NY; Terry Lee (Skip) Hall and his wife Jules of Wilmington, NC; Regina Merritt and her husband Kevin of Cochranton, PA; Jennifer A. Everline and her husband Shawn of Shepherdstown, WV. She is also survived by six great grand children, Hanna Schneider Fugate, Tyce Schneider, Mason P. Hall, Fiona G. Everline, Alison and Abigail Merritt; three great step grandchildren, Tyler, Camilla and Natalie Walker; one brother, James E. Briner of Ridgley WV and numerous nieces and nephews. At Leonora's request there will be no calling hours. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agatha Catholic Church 353 Pine Street, Meadville, PA on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Father Andrew Boyd as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Agatha Cemetery in Meadville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southern Care Hospice, 1245 Park Ave, Meadville, PA 16335.   1. I was saddened to read of Lenora’s passing. She was a great lady of faith and I admired her independence and concern for others. She was my mother’s (Betty Wright) neighbor for many years and even though she was a few years older than mom, she was always looking out for her. I hope her passing was peaceful and I trust that she’s with the Lord now and that her health is fully restored. My thoughts and prayers to Lenora’s family at this time.
