Lena Lucille Taylor Stephens, 82, of Saegertown, passed away, Friday, July 31, 2015 at Crawford County Care Center. She was born on October 27, 1932 in Ohio, a daughter of Willard Rosevelt and Ethel Lucille Davis. She married Arthur F. Stephens, he preceded her in death on September 24, 2007. She was a 1952 graduate of Cochranton High School. Lena was employed as a nanny, waitress, and with K-Mart for more than 20 years. She enjoyed sewing, making baby doll quilts, crocheting, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Lena is survived by a daughter, LuAnn Wachowiak and her husband Joe of Saegertown; four grandchildren, Jay Wachowiak and his companion Alicia of South Carolina, Shawn Hillman of South Dakota, Brian Wachowiak and his girlfriend Jessica Sayre of Saegertown, and Chad Wachowiak and his wife Veronica of Saegertown; four great grandchildren, Jay Wachowiak, Jr., Jayce Wachowiak, Jazlen Miller, and Shawna Hillman; a great grandchild to be born in March; three sisters, Gladis Karns of Cochranton, Lenora Ann Malliard of Meadville, and Alberta Greathouse and her husband Bud of Meadville; a brother, Larry Taylor and his wife Barb of Somerset, Pennsylvania; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her loving husband, Arthur, she was preceded by her parents; a brother, Willard Taylor; two sisters, Emma Mae West and Edith Cunningham; and four brother-in-laws, Paul West, Gaylord Karns, Carl Mailliard, and Phil Cunningham. Family and friends are welcome to call on Monday, August 3rd from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 4th at 11:00am at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Villiers of Gospel Tabernacle, officiating. Burial will take place in Greendale Cemetery, Meadville.
