To the family of a great lady I’ve known most of my life I send my sincere love and condolences. She will be missed for sure but never forgotten!
My sympathy and love to the family as you grieve the loss of mother and grandmother. Over the years, Lelia was very special to me and I treasure all the visits I had with her…especially the ones at Colonial Terrace. She was a treasure!
Lelia lived near us for many years and would stop by and chat for a spell. She was always working and supporting our town and her church and family. She was very proud of all of you! We are sending our thoughts across the miles.
My mother was in the room next to Lelia & shared a bath. Just wanted you to know how much I liked Lelia. I spent a lot of time with her when I visited from Florida, laughing with her when trying to do a drinking contest with her at meal times when they were trying to get her to drink her water. I will really miss her when I visit in the future. I know you all will miss her as well. I prayed often for her the last month of her life. Ken Mitchell
