Karla Diane Buttray, 68 of Meadville, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021, in Meadville. She was born in Meadville on December 13, 1952, daughter of Karl Buttery and the late Pauline Slayton Buttray.
Karla loved cross stitching, knitting, crocheting, sudoko, archery, bowing and her cat Sweetie.
Survivors include her sisters Nancy Jo Mattocks of Meadville and Crystal Schafer and her husband Kerry of Linesville and four brothers Karl Buttray, Jr and his wife Laura of Meadville; Jeff Smith and his wife Mary of Linesville; Michael Smith of Meadville and Doug Smith and his wife Karen of Conneaut Lake and her beloved cat Sweetie.
In addition to her mother, Karla was preceded in death by her brother William Buttray.
Friends and family are invited to call the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335 on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Gibson officiating. CDC Guidelines will be followed, masks are required along with social distancing.
Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society, 11012 Kennedy Hill Road, Meadville, PA 16335.

Karla and I graduated together and we reconnected when I was working at Conneaut Lake Veterinary Hospital and Karla brought her cat in. She was a kind and loving person. Rest In Peace, Karla❣️
