Karen L. Monahan, 65, of Franklin, passed away on Thursday, April 7th at 12:00 p.m. at Sugar Creek Station in Franklin.Born August 25th, 1950 in Franklin, Karen was the daughter of Wylie and Arvella Gillingham McCune. She was a member of the Atlantic Avenue United Brethren in Christ Church.Karen is survived by her mother, Arvella McCune; her daughters, Tammie Dotts, Carrie Ballinger, and Wendy Clark; her sister, Sandy Klaesges; and her grandchildren, Stephen, Elizabeth, Jared, and Holly.Karen was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Patricia McAbee. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
