So sorry to hear of Joyce passing, I remember the good times we had in Charlotte NC, we had such a great time with her and Bob, especially her wonderful cooking for Thanksgiving.
What is a friend…-Someone who understands you & is there for you. Someone you can hang out with and have fun with. And, that we did! It all started back in Jr. High, 7th or 8th grade in Home Ec, when you poked me with a straight pin in my hip. Been friends ever since, imagine that! I never did get you back for that. I can still hear you laugh! What about when I borrowed my Dad’s car for the prom and we were riding around town and pretending we were smoking and you went to throw your “lit” cigarette out the half open window and it fell down inside the door to the floor and all I could see was my Dad’s brand new Hudson going up in flames! We had our ups and downs, but the good times prevailed. We’ve been friends for a long time. You were a good friend to me, Joyce and I’ll never forget you. I love you and I’ll miss you. Rest in peace, my friend, until we meet again. Sandy
