MEADVILLE- Joseph "Joe" Leo Mullen, 81, of Meadville, passed away, Monday, May 4th, 2015, at Meadville Medical Center. Joe was born on August 23, 1933 to the late, Joseph Leo and Mary Sanford Mullen. On February 16, 1957, Joe married Donna Mullen, she survives.
Joe received his bachelor's degree from Allegheny College, he also earned a Master's Degree from Gannon University and he received a license to Practice before the Interstate Commerce Commission from Robert Morris University. He worked as a traffic manager at Talon. Joe was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church in Meadville.
Joe served on the Crawford Central School Board as a Director for 8 years, he was a member of the Vernon Lions Club, Meadville Round Table, Elks, Talon Management Club, and was the President and Director of Meadville Little League.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his brother Robert Mullen and his sister Janet Battin.
Survivors include, his beloved wife of 58 years, Donna Mullen, of Meadville; one daughter, Tracey Lloyd and her husband Brian of Meadville; two sons, Thomas Mullen and his companion Linda Coldren of Carlton, PA; and Timothy Mullen and his wife Pamela of Meadville, PA; eight grandchildren, Meaghan Harris, Ryan Mullen, Brett Mullen, Adam Lloyd, Justin Mullen, Aaron Lloyd, Alec Lloyd and Bryce Mullen; also four great grandchildren; and one Brother, William Mullen of Meadville.
Family and Friends are invited to call on Thursday, May 7, 2015, from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at Saint Brigid Roman Catholic Church, 383 Arch Street, Meadville, with Father Johnathan Schmolt as celebrany. Burial will take place at Greendale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be to Meadville Area Youth Baseball and Softball, 561 Pettis Road, Meadville, PA 16335 or to St. Brigid Catholic Church, 383 Arch Street, Meadville, PA 16335.

To Donna and all of her family,
You all are in our thoughts as you say good-bye to Joe in this life. He is alive with his Heavenly Father and you will be reunited again. Still for all of you, you have to go on. We will pray the days ahead will be blessed by faith, family and friends.
I wanted to call at the funeral home, but Jerry had chemo this morning and is having a rough day. I will visit Donna soon.

I am not sure if you remember me but I had you for kindergarten and you were always one of my favorite teachers. I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. I am newly married and can’t imagine being without him. I will be praying to give you strength to get through this very difficult time.
