I’m going to miss you MIKE RIP
King Mike, I think we can all remember him pounding his chest, & telling us he was the king. I remember Curtis calling him that once when he was just little, & Arthur Lee laughing, & saying, “ Boy, that’s our cousin, he ain’t no king!” Mike cut Arthur a dirty look, but then he started laughing, too. So many memories of Mike through the years, it’s hard to imagine him not being around. Jolene, & the rest of the family, you have my deepest sympathy & love. He’ll be missed.
Mike, I haven’t seen you for many years, but we used to play together as kids. May you rest in peace. Luther Burrell, Prescott Az.
Oh Michael, we will miss you terribly! Yes, you were the king – the supervisor. You could fuss with those eyes and that body language!! We knew exactly what you were saying without you saying a word. You were the cousin that was always impeccably dressed and could have been featured in a magazine. Your humor, your love of family and your kind heart was always appreciated and enjoyed. You were a faithful servant and I know God is saying ” Well done thy good and faithful servant. ” Love you??
Hello Family, my name is Dorice and I am the mother of Mike’s nephew, Joe, and niece, Melissa. In 1997, we came to Franklin so they could spend Thanksgiving with their dad and grandma. Mike took me out on the town and I had the time of my life (enjoying life was one of his gifts). Even though we didn’t know each other well, we connected as if we had known each other forever. I felt appreciated (another one of his gifts). The night ended with him telling me I would always be family. I felt cared for (another one of his gifts). A kind soul (his greatest gift to us all). He will be missed!
He was my Dad’s best friend (they looked alike)… he was always at all our family functions…. he treated me like his niece. You will be missed. Loved you. Lynnette Taylor Criego
