Jon Arthur Baker, 76, of Franklin passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at The Caring Place.Born on July 17, 1942 in Cleveland, OH, he was a son of Charles and Marge Baker.He spent his life with his wife and soul mate, Susan Reitz; she survives him.Jon was employed as a Shear Operator for Franklin Steel.Even in his spare time, Jon was a hard working individual. He enjoyed the outdoors, mostly hunting, fishing, and horse racing. He was also a very big football fan and loved to watch NASCAR. In addition to his wife, Jon is survived by his three sons, Charles Baker of Virginia, Michael Baker of Florida, and Jeffrey Baker and his wife, Jennifer, of Oil City; his grandchildren, Chelsea Rudolph, Alexis Baker, and Kimmber Baker; his great-grandson, Broc Rudolph; his brothers, David Baker and his wife, Coleen, Arizona, and Jerry Baker and his wife, Judy, of Oregon; and his sisters, Marilyn Feaster and her husband, Ned, of Tennessee, and Cindy Hicks and her husband, John, of Franklin.Jon was preceded in death by his parents.In accordance to Jon's wishes, visitation and funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.A private interment will be held at Nicklin Cemetery.
