Guestbook

  1. Joanne and family,
So sorry for your loss. John wasa great guy, except for the football team he supported, but we forgave him for that…haha. Hope his humor, kindness to others and having fun made him extra special. We’re glad that VisionQuest and Kiwanias brought us together. Hugs and prayers to all.

    Love Marty and Sue Keelan

  2. With a heavy heart , I extend my sympathy to Joanne and the Breene family with the loss of John.
    He was a wonderful man.
We shared the month of October for our birthday.
Because my birthday was a few weeks before his,
he loved to tease me and tell me how much older was.
I have many wonderful memories of John.
    He will be missed.

  3. May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
    Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

I remember John doing that toast or one similar at a wedding. Godspeed John!

    Klint Breene

  4. I knew John from both the Police Department (I was the Security Officer for First Seneca Bank) and from his work at the Court House where I served as a Juror. My wife Susie and I extend our sincere sympathy to John’s wife, Joanne as well as to the rest of his family. Warm Thoughts and Prayers…

  5. Oh so many memories
From drinking a glass of wine together and making me a Tom Collins. How we could do the twist. How we enjoyed the Octobofest. Our funny special song you sang to me. Pirates..Steelers and Penquin fans. Sharing the laughter and his words of wisdom to me. Knowing he still loved me and treated me so well even though I made a mistake. I always was so happy to visit. He had so much love and pride for his family and caring for others. He was a super special husband..father..grandfather and friend. Thank You John for being there for my daughter and remaining my friend. Thank You for the understanding and love you showed me. I know that Heaven gained an Angel that will join my Dad and Mom in Heaven
    I will miss you,
    Love,
    Carol

  6. I’m not surprised to see the large family that John left behind, because my memory of him is of his outgoing, friendly, cheerful manner. I saw him only once or twice in Franklin after we graduated, but it was always a pleasure. His friendly smile was always welcoming. May you, the family, find comfort in your pleasant memories. I’m sorry for your loss.

  7. We will miss you Great Uncle John. I’m glad you were able to attend my wedding and that I was able to see you in TX as you celebrated Connor’s graduation. I remember you always being able to share a song or drink with your VA Breene family. You will be missed.
