John H Frey

John H. Frey, Jr., 91, of Meadville, passed away, Sunday, March 24, 2024 at UPMC Hamot. He was born on December 31, 1932 in Meadville, a son of John H. Frey, Sr., and Iona L. Phipps Frey. He graduated from Meadville High School and Rochester Institute of Technology. Serving his country in the US Navy Reserves. John was a lithographer at the Meadville Tribune, Frey Graphics, Morco, and Simco. John's passion was in photography, gardening, hunting, and fishing. He was a member of the Living Waters Church. He is survived by his companion, Judy Leonhart of Meadville; a daughter, Karen Frey Dividio of Meadville, two sons, John Frey III and his wife, Amy of Pittsburgh, and Robert Frey of Meadville; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Dividio and her wife Jackie of Ohio. John was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Andrea Ritchie and Jean Bogart; and a grandson, Jeremy Frey. There will be no services at this time.
