Jeffrey “Duke” Cauvel, 52, of Franklin passed away on April 3, 2025 with his family at his side.
Born on October 11, 1972 in Franklin, he was the son of the late William E. and M. Catherine (Connell) Cauvel.
Duke was a graduate of Franklin High School and was a part of the Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Department family. He worked for After Hours in the kitchen and as a bartender.
In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting & fishing with his family and riding four-wheelers. Even though Duke liked all animals, his favorite was German Shepherds. He enjoyed different types of gambling at the casinos and playing Bingo.
Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Sharyn Rinker and her husband, Daniel, of Franklin, his close cousins Debra Householder and her husband, Todd, of Hadley, PA, Carl “Chip” McDermott and his wife, Beth, of Masury, OH, Raymond Goodman, Jr. of Franklin, Kimberly Goodman of Franklin, Anisa Buffy Pyle and her husband, Wayne, of Franklin, Cathy Dolan and her companion, Tim Crouse, of Seneca, and numerous other cousins.
He will be missed by his best friend, Brock Gregory and his wife, Julie, of Franklin who was his “brother” and helped with many projects together.
The Gardinier-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, PA 16323 would like to invite guests to A Celebration of Duke’s Life on June 8, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Fox Street Church of God, 229 Fox Street, Franklin, PA.
