MEADVILLE " Jean Marie Culver Hall, 71, of 10937 Culver Drive, Meadville, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at her residence.
Born Sept. 22, 1939, in Meadville, she was a daughter of Rodney John Culver and Lucile Rebecca Heckman Culver, and stepdaughter of Ethel May Knappenberger Culver. She married James F. Hall on May 19, 1957.
She was a homemaker, but in her earlier years she was employed at Montgomery Wards.
She enjoyed gardening, painting, bird watching and garage-saling. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was a member of Pymatuning Pin Tails Ducks Unlimited.
She was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, of Meadville; two daughters, Darlene Hall, of Perry, OH, Pam Billman and her husband, Dan, of Mars; a son, Thomas Hall and his wife, Onalee, of Meadville; three grandchildren, Andrew Hall in the U.S. Navy stationed in California, Jamie Billman of Mars and Kaitlyn Hall of Meadville; a sister, Patricia Wilson and her husband, Bill, of Meadville; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Daniels of Conneautville; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dick and Gloria Hall of Branson, Mo.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father and stepmother; and a brother, Jack Culver.
Calling hours are today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville.
The funeral and committal service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with Dr. Brian K. Jensen of First Presbyterian Church officiating.
Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Meadville.
