Jean M. Crannell, 78, formerly of Greene Township, passed away Monday, December 29, 2025.

She was born on April 2, 1947 in Union City, PA to the late Julius and Helen Horvath (Sayban).

Jean was a 1965 graduate of Wattsburg High School. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Erie Insurance.

She found joy in camping, fishing, day trips, and shopping excursions. Above all, Jean treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Donald Crannell. She is survived by her daughter and son Gail (Rick) Brak and Jerry (Ann) Weber of Erie, her grandchildren Henry Brak, Lily Brak, and Julia (Luke) Bratton, and her siblings Sandra (Roger) Post of North East and Richard Horvath of Union City.

No formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please honor Jean’s memory with a charitable contribution of your choice.
