Janice M. Sanden, 81, of Clermont, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025. Born on April 24, 1944, in Kingsville, Ohio, Janice was the beloved daughter of Harold and Freda Brydle Herl.
She loved nothing more than curling up with a good book, splashing around in her pool under the warm Florida sun, and catching up on her favorite TV show, NCIS. She was a dedicated manager in the food service industry and brought her strong work ethic into everything she did.
She leaves behind her cherished children: son Allen Sanden (Shannon Lee) of Clermont, FL; daughter Brenda Browne (Jason) of Buckeye, AZ; and son Arlen Sanden (Robin) of Denver, PA. Janice adored her grandchildren, Tyler Browne, Alyssa Browne, Andy Sanden, Steven Sanden, and AJ Ambrose, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Janice is also survived by her loving siblings: sisters Bonnie Herl, Beverly Spencer (Howard), Patti Hoover (Ross), and Lois Smith (Glenn), and brothers Larry Herl (Mary) and Norman Herl. She was preceded in death by her sons Aaron, Keith, and Kenneth Sanden, her husband, Scranton, her parents, and her brothers Richard and Harold Lee Herl.
Her warmth, kindness, and laughter will be missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
