Janet Magee McWilliams, 88, of Union City, passed away, Monday, August 23, 2021 at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community in Meadville. She was born on May 20, 1933 in Union City, a daughter of George Magee and Helen Coe Magee. She married Clair McWilliams, he preceded her in death on January 29, 2007.
She graduated as Salutatorian of Union City High School, class of 1951 and was employed as the Accounting Director for Union City Hospital until her retirement.
Janet was a member of Union City First United Methodist Church and in her free time enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
Survived by her son, Jim McWilliams (Christine); ten grandchildren; over twenty-five great grandchildren; brother, Jack (Gladys) Magee; sister, Jane (Jon) Barnes; sister, Verna (Chauncey) McCracken; and sister in law, Gail (Lynn) Kolaja.
In addition to her husband, Clair; she was preceded in death by; two daughters, LuAnne Higby and Suzanne Berkhous; her sister, Judy; and brother, George.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Saturday, August 28th from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. The funeral service will follow at 12:00pm with Pastor Lea Guiney, officiating.
Private burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Union City.
