  6. I’m so sorry for your loss!! Death is always a tragedy, no matter the circumstances or situation. Something that helps me personally deal with the loss of loved ones is a comforting thought from the bible. God provides a beautiful promise for the future at John 5:28,29 where it says “The hour is coming in which all those in memorial tombs will hear His voice and come out”. God promises that he will bring our loved ones back to a paradise earth for us to see again. I hope this can bring you some comfort during this difficult time. If you would like to hear more of the bible’s promises for the future, feel free to email me at the above address. Once again, please accept my deepest sympathies!!

  9. We are saddened by Jim’s passing but are rejoicing that he is in heaven. We regret we cannot be at the service. In Ohio helping Johannah move into her new apartment. So many dear memories we all have of Jim and Cathy! They were such a huge part of our lives for so many years when we were at Lyona! Everyone of us had tears when we heard of Jim’s home going. One time when we were visiting Jim and Cathy when our boys were little, we couldn’t find them. After looking for a short time, there they were with Jim climbing a tree. I think the last 4 of our 7 children had Jim in “Cubbies” with the Awana Program at Lyona Bible Church. They all loved Jim. All the wonderful dinners Jim and Cathy had for our family will never be forgotten. The times Jim would get the horses out for the kids to ride will always be a special memory. We have several pictures of these beautiful memories that we will cherish a very long time. Jim was a Godly man and the best deacon Lyona Bible church ever had! He was a servant through and through. We look forward to the day to join he and Cathy in our new residence called Heaven. But until then we will be better Christians here on this earth because of the life Jim Carpenter lived.

  10. Carol and family,
I received the email from Calvary and was so sorry to learn of your father’s passing. I know he was well-loved over the years, always had a genuine smile and will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you all, coming from Orlando, FL., Colleen Roach
