James E. Lockert, 67, of Meadville, passed away, Monday, September 27, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on February 21, 1954 a son of Conrad Lockert and Catherine Stiefel Lockert. He married Marianne Stefanucci on December 11, 1982. He was a 1982 graduate of Evans High School in Orlando, Florida and was employed with Crawford County Corrections and retired as a Lieutenant. He later went back to work at the Crawford County Corrections as head of the IT Department. James was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his loving wife, Marianne of Meadville; a daughter, Jackie Russell and her husband Andrew of Saegertown; two sons, Cory Lockert and his wife Grace of Lutz, Florida and Jay Lockert of Meadville; grandchildren, Mason, Madison, and CJ Lockert and Kara, Khloe, and Kurt Russell; and a sister, Linda Lockert of Dawsonville, Georgia. James was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 2nd at 2:00pm at Ranz Bar and Grill, 10950 Liberty Street, Meadville.   6. Mary Ann…Jackie and Jay…my condolences for your great loss. I first met Jim when we were both employed at the old county jail. Jim was new to our area and Kathy and I remember our good times with you and Jim Mary Ann for the times that you hosted us at your home and when we went other places.
