Irene B. Onyskow Dott, 89, of Meadville, passed away, Monday, October 8, 2018 at UPMC Hamot. She was born on June 26, 1929, in Meadville, PA, daughter of the late Dmytro and Maria Zneck Onyskow. She was married to William R. Dott for almost 50 years, he preceded her in passing in 1995. Irene was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, she enjoyed gardening and sewing. She was the best grandma ever. Irene enjoyed going to garage sales and loved everything about life. Survivors include her four daughters, Barbara Martinetti and her husband Bob of Vandergrift, PA; Marsha Molnar and her husband Ronald of Meadville; Penny Dott of Saegertown and Victoria Cummings and her husband Arthur of Pittsburgh; her son William Dott, Jr., and his companion Jamie of Meadville; grandchildren, Robin Shadad (Firas); Maria Cukrzynski (Steve); Brian Petro; Debra Gorman (Chris); Nichole Cummings (James) and Gregory Cummings (Debra); also her great grandchildren, Mariah, Jenna, Nicholas, Ava, Kristi, Riley and Gregory, Jr. and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Irene was preceded in death by her brothers George Onyskow, Frank Onyskow and Nick Onyski and two sisters, Annie Swinkola and Catherine Onyskow. Friends and family are invited to call the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335, on Thursday, from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 353 Pine Street, Meadville, PA 16335, on Friday, at 10:00 A.M.. Burial will be at St. Brigid Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2115 W. 38th Street, Erie, PA 16508.   1. Irene was my Great Aunt on my mother’s side; sister of my grandmother, Anna Swinkola. Although it’s been years since I have seen her, I have fond memories of visits to her home on Rogers Ferry Rd. My deepest condolences to all her family and friends. May she rest with the angels in Gods glorious presence!
