Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Aunt Ila will be sadly missed by many. My memory recalls her always having a smile and saying something funny or witty to make you smile. She is rejoicing with Uncle Charles now and doesn’t have to suffer with life’s every day aches and pains. Our Love and Prayers go out to all the family members.

  2. I want to say how sorry I am for your loss, My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time of grief. It is never easy to loose a parent, no matter their age. I remember her as such a nice lady. May you be comforted by the light of love, today and during the days ahead.

  3. We are so sorry for your loss. I always remember your mom’s infectious laugh and happy disposition. Sadly, Cooperstown has lost another of it’s great ladies. I can picture her and my (Beanie) sitting together in heaven having a good laugh catching up on all the gossip! Fill the hole in your hearts with all your wonderful memories. She will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with you. Greg and Nancy Tingley

  5. Growing up in Cooperstown in the 50’s and 60’s was a special time. The names Chuck and Ila was part of the fiber of the town. Ila always called me Tommy and gave me that big smile. Cooperstown has lost a lovely couple who added so much to us who knew them over the years. Heaven has received our loss! Please receive our deepest sympathy in the passing of your Mom. Tom and Melanie Brink

  6. I’ve known Ila almost as long as I have known Braden. It was common to go to his parents house on a weekend night and find Bus & Becky hosting the crew of George & Florence Foster, Beanie & Leighton Snyder, and Chuck and Ila all laughing and having fun! What fond memories! Your mom was a great lady in many ways that I know you will miss her greatly. How good it will be to be reunited in Glory someday! I was sorry that I had to work and couldn’t be at her funeral. Prayers for all of you. <3 Susan Burger
