Miss you grandma. We butted heads on occasion cause you were always so protective of us grandkids. Love you very much and I hope you always felt that love. I wish that disease hadn’t taken such a toll on you and your memory. You touched so many lives both as a employee at Polk Center, The car lot, Easter Seals, and you loved us all no matter if we were an Attleberger,Adams,McElhattan, Hays, etc. We all will miss you greatly.
So sorry for your loss Brenda and Jeremy. My thoughts and Prayers are with your Family. Joan sure was a special person. I’m sure Mom and her are up there talking about Grandkids and I’m sure Ray’s talking motorcycles to them both. May God Bless. Love Melinda
Joan was a very special person. When she worked for Easter Seals, she brought love, joy and laughter into the group homes she worked in. Joan played games and cooked with the boys. She also sang and danced with them. Even when she wasn’t working at Easter Seals, she always remembered “her boys” and brought them magazines and treats. Joan will always be remembered for her unique smile and her loving ways. Her love and memories will live on forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with Joan’s family.
