Hazel C. Walbeck, 79, of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, June 5th at 1:14 p.m. at the Caring Place in Franklin.Born March 1st, 1937 in Shelbyville, KY, Hazel was the daughter of James and Christine Cinnomon Catlett. She was a caregiver and a member of the Grafenburg Christian Church in Grafenburg, KY. She loved to clean and take care of the elderly. Most of all, Hazel lover her family and her 2 dogs, "Rags" and "Teddy."Hazel is survived by her daughter, Linda Johnson, and her husband, Jack, of Franklin; her grandson, William Boness, Jr., and his wife, Anna, of Chicora; and her granddaughter, Samantha Reynolds, and her husband, Christopher, of Franklin. She is also survived by her two great-grandchildren.Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Doris Jean Catlett Hughes and Margie Catlett; and Emmett Aaron Cardwell, the father of her daughter, Linda.Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street in Franklin. Family and friends will be received at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home, 1185 Main Street in Shelbyville, KY on Thursday, June 9th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.Funeral services will be held at Hall-Taylor Funeral Home on Friday, June 10th at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Jessie Baxter officiating.   2. ‘Mamaw’ will be greatly missed ! I really looked forward to seeing her everyday at work and her always give me a hard time! She was such a loving and caring person she knew how to make you laugh! R.I.P Mamaw gone but never to be forgotten! My deepest sympathy for all the family and friends!
