Gloria Ann Shoffstall, 79, passed away on Monday, November 19 2018 in the late hours of the night.She was born on July 19, 1939 in Franklin to Robert Earl Sr. and Daisy Mae (Beers) Austin.Gloria was married to Paul R. Shoffstall; he preceded her in death. When she wasn't tending to her own home, she worked as a dishwasher for the Franklin Club. In her spare time, Gloria enjoyed completing crossword puzzles and reading. She also loved to sit outside on her porch swing, watching her grandchildren play in the beautiful outdoors. Most of all, however, she cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved them immensely.Gloria is survived by her son, Paul W. Shoffstall and his wife, Terri, of Franklin; her daughter, Paula A. Cielepak of Franklin; her grandchildren, James Shoffstall, Tristan Todd, Alisha Shoffstall, and Steven Shoffstall, all of Franklin, and Michael Shoffstall of Sharon; and her great-grandchildren, Mason, Micah, and Amaryllis Shoffstall, all of Franklin, and Brett Sanner of Cochranton.In addition to her parents and husband, Gloria was preceded in death by her brothers, Lambert, Robert Jr., Lawrence, Edward, and Domer Austin; her sisters, Lucilly McCandless, June Austin, Dorathy Beebe, Lillian Skinelle, Edith Rhodes, and Helen Austin.A Celebration of Life for Gloria will be announced on a later date at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Franklin Cemetery.Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc.Memorial contributions can be made in Gloria's name to the Venango Visiting Nurses Foundation, 491 Allegheny Blvd, Franklin, PA 16323; and/or to the Venango County Humane Society, P.O.   1. To my family in Franklin – I am so sorry to hear that Gloria has passed. She will be welcomed by Uncle Paul, my sister Ronda, my son Adam and my dad. Heaven is going to be beautiful with this angel added. I Have some very fond memories of the Shoffstall home. The warmth, love and genuine family atmosphere was what I Felt when we visited. The people who lived here were the most welcoming family.
