George Walter Dobrick, 67, of Franklin, passed away on January 21, 2017 at the Erie VA Medical Center in Erie.Mr. Dobrick was born on May 26, 1949. He was the son of the late George and Rita Zamosky Dobrick. He graduated from Gateway High School in Monroeville. George was a US Army Vietnam War Veteran. He worked for Joy Manufacturing and was self-employed as an auto body repairman. He loved restoring antique cars and taking them to car shows.George is survived by his sons George Dobrick, and his wife, Pam, of Turtlecreek and Michael Dobrick of Franklin; his step-son, Tony Bergamasco, and his wife, Kathy, of Pittsburgh; his daughter Elisa Dobrick-Miller of franklin; his brothers Richard Dobrick and his wife Susan Ash-Miller of Blairsville, Kenneth Dobrick and his wife Wrintha of Trafford; his sisters Virginia Edwards of Trafford and Patricia Bianchi, and her husband, Fred, of Santa Anna, CA. In addition, George is survived by his six grandchildren, Nick and Avery Dobrick, of Pittsburgh; Dathan Myers, of Franklin; Kris Miller, of Franklin; and Miranda and Mark Bergamasco, of Pittsburgh.In addition to his parents, Mr. Dobrick was preceded in death by a son-in-law Kris Miller.Visitation for Mr. Dobrick will be held on Tuesday, January 24th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc. 1315 Chestnut St. Franklin. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 25th at the Grandview Cemetery Chapel in North Versailles, Allegheny County at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow.The Family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the V.E.T.S.
