George C. Rupert, Jr., 63, of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2019 in his home. George proudly served his country in the United States Navy at Naval Submarine Base in Pearl Harbor, HI, where he earned the Navy "E" Ribbon, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, First Good Conduct Award, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and the Battle "E" Ribbon (2). George will be laid to rest in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, PA.Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, PA, has been entrusted with his arrangements.
