Gene Raymond Hicks

Gene Raymond Hicks, 65 of Union City, passed away, Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at UPMC Hamot. He was born on September 30, 1952 in Union City, a son of Forest L. And Donna M. Babcock Hicks. Gene enjoyed working outside, doing carpentry and gardening. He is survived by his fianc?©, Danette M. Royer; three daughters, Angela Buczkowski and her husband, David of Harbor Creek, Eugenna Biebel and her husband, Jeremy of Union City and Jennifer Stephenson and her husband, James of Lebanon, OH; three sons, Kevin Hicks and his wife, Tammy of Elgin, James Royer of San Francisco, CA and Josh Royer of Waterford; grandchildren, Anthony, Carley, Carter, Alexis, Alyssa and Colin Biebel, Britney, Jordan, Clarissa Hicks, Adrianna Royer and Lucy Stephenson; five sisters, Glenna Long and her husband, Robert of DeLand, FL, Sharon Demby of Corry, June Thompson and her husband, Robert of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, Linda Pike and her husband, Gary of Corry and Tonya Melnick and her husband, Marshall of Waterford; a brother, Forrest ???Buddy??? Hicks of Pittsburgh and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Gene is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tarry Harvey; a grandson, Charlie Biebel; half-brother, Gerald Hicks and two sisters, Shelby Thomson and Sandra Hicks.
