Frank Charles Flint

Frank C. Flint, of Meadville, passed away on his 93 birthday, October 13, 2019, at the Erie VA Medical Center. He was born in New Richmond, PA, son of the late Leo and C. Louise Flint. He married his best friend, Barbara Byers on September 21, 1949, she survives. Frank was a master watch maker. He owned his own clock and watch repair shop on North Street in Meadville. He started building an airplane and earned his pilots license. He was a self taught welder, photographer and was truly a jack of all trades. He was a brilliant and gifted man. Frank was an avid bible reader, he and his wife Barbara built their home on his family farm. He worked for Abex in electrical maintenance for 35 years. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Barbara Flint of Meadville; his daughter Sharon Donahue-Waring and her husband John of Linesville; three sons, Leonard Flint and his wife Susan of Meadville; Mark Flint and his wife Carol of Townville and Samuel Flint of Meadville; also 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in passing by his brother Jack Flint and half sister Wilma Herman. Graveside Services will be held at Kingsley Cemetery, Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Harry Zurasky officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home, 33353 N. Main Street, Townville, PA 16360. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the New Richmond Church, 29776 PA-77, Guys Mills, PA 16327.
