Florence M. Burek

Florence M. Burek, 81, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Millcreek Community Hospital. Florence was born on August 23, 1942 in Union City, a daughter of Reese Taylor and Jennie Jeanette Clark Williamson. She married Frank Burek, he preceded her in death on November 23, 1984. She was a graduate of Union City High School. Florence used to go to the grange, enjoyed knitting, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, gardening, and was a great cook. She was an easy going, friendly person. Florence made friends easily with everyone whom she met. The world will be a sadder place without her. She brought joy to everyone that knew her. She is survived by her son, Gary Burek of Union City. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 11:00 am at Saint Teresa Cemetery, 145 East High Street, Union City, Pennsylvania 16438.
