Fern Ruth Brown Trubic, 87, of Union City, passed away, Friday, January 14, 2022 at Cambridge Corry Senior Living. She was born on October 17, 1934 in Wayne County, New York a daughter of Ralph Chase and Violet Lyons Chase. She was the former owner of the Townhouse in Union City and later was the cook for many years at the Union City Country Club. Fern was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of the American Legion, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and a past member of the Ladies of the Moose. She enjoyed working, sitting out in the sun, and going on walks to talk with her friends. Fern is survived by a son, Terry L. Ward and his wife Peggy of Union City; two grandsons, Terry Ward II and his wife Lauren of Baldwinsville, New York and Paul Ward and his wife Cindy of Pulaski, New York; step-grandson, John Karmadin; four great grandchildren, Abby, Sadie, Lindy, and Anson; one great great grandchild, Jaxon; and two sisters, Rose Wright of Wolcott, New York and Susie Flint and her husband Alan of Rochester, New York She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, Paul Ward, Robert Brown, and Robert Trubic; two sisters, Marion and June; and a brother, Arthur Chase. Services will be announced at a later date. Burial will take place in Sheffield Cemetery, Warren County, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Community Nursing Services, 7 Park Street, North East, Pennsylvania 16428.
