Fern was kind to me every time we visited. She shared wisdom, stories of her life, and concerns. We prayed together about those concerns and she always remembered to give thanks. She expressed her joy about many things she liked, food and music, the photos of her family and memories of her husband. I loved the times we visited or went together to McDonald’s, the grocery store, church or an appointment. She enjoyed life and did not allow her struggles to keep her from living it. Her resilience and determination were a good testimony for anyone who needed encouragement. Thank you Lord for using Fern to bless my life.
Prayers for comfort to all who loved Fern, she was a good friend.
