Eugene “Gene” R. Crum, 82, of Centerville, PA, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, at Wesbury United Methodist Community. Gene was born on September 22, 1943, to Dewey E. Crum and Thelma F. Shorts. He was a devoted husband to Bonnie J. Wyant, whom he married on July 26, 1962, and who sadly passed away on March 24, 2025.

Gene grew up attending Townville Schools and proudly served in the United States Army.He built a career, working for Nichols Garage and as a scheduler for AJAX/Cooper Energy Services. Gene was also a charter member of the Taylor Stand Bible Church and an active member of the American Legion in Townville. He had a passion for working on vehicles and cherished every moment spent with his family.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Lisa (Michael) Burrows of Townville; his sons, Joseph (Gail) Crum of Saegertown, Bruce (Melody) Crum of Centerville, and Steven (Gwendolyn) Crum of North Carolina; as well as his grandchildren, Shawn (Lindsay) Crum, Rachel Sturrock, Brianna Burrows, Hailey Crum, and Cheyanne Crum, and his great-grandchildren, Dawsyn, Dakotah, Hayden, Gavin, Braelyn, Sophie, MacKenzie, and Landon. He is also survived by his sisters, Betty Crum of Titusville and Patt (Brian) Thrush of Summerville. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Russell Crum, and grandchildren Justin and Kala Tatters.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Gene’s life on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the service at 1:00 PM at the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., located at 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. Pastor Brad Yost will officiate the service, and military honors will be provided by VFW Post #2006.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gene’s memory may be made to the Taylor Stand Bible Church at 20570 Taylor Stand Rd, Centerville, PA 16404, or to Gentiva Hospice at 1119 Park Ave #7, Meadville, PA 16335. Gene will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
