CUZ and I
In loving memory of my Aunt E.
xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo, Cuz
Cuz and I, forever friends,
through life, now death, never to part.
You are gone, but will not be forgotten.
Always with me in my heart, now
guiding us through time forever,
until we meet again in heaven.
If Tears Could…
If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane,
I would walk right up to heaven
To bring you home again.
No farewell words were spoken.
No time to say good-bye.
You were gone before we knew it,
And only God knows why.
My heart still aches in sadness
And secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you,
No one will ever know.
I had worked with Elaine in 1979-80 at the Holiday Inn, again years later at grandveiw Nursing home, and currently at Easter Seals. I would like you to know what an asset she was in all these various fields. She truely was a caring individual and was able to show a genuine care and concern for those she took care of. She will be greatly missed as a co-worker and friend.
We miss you Aunt Elaine. Everytime I see my rhubarb and seedum, and especially when I read the kids “5 Minute Godnight Stories” I will think of you. We had such a wonderful time when we visited you last year. Love you!
Everytime I work in my garden I will think of you Elaine, and wish you were here.
I will miss you, and so will all the children in the neighborhood who thought of you as their friend. You always had a hug and kind word for everyone of them.
Your memory will always be in their hearts, a wonderful place to be.
We are so sorry and shocked to hear of Elaine’s passing. She was a great cousin – always kind with a great sense of humor. She will be missed. By the time we heard the sad news, it was too late to pay our respects at the funeral home or attend the funeral. We deeply regret that. Please know that our thoughts, prayers and sincere sympathy are with her husband, Kenneth, her brother, Dan, and sisters, Georgette, Diane and Mary.
