Edith M. Babcock, 82, of Corry,Pa. passed away, Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Groves Personal Care Home. She was born on September 4, 1938 in Union City, a daughter of Vern Babcock and Edith Mallory Babcock.
She was a self employed dairy farmer with her husband and she enjoyed watching old westerns and collecting stuffed animals.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Edith is survived by her step-son, Edward Eastman and his wife, Dellana of Union City;step- granddaughter, Heather McIntire and her husband, Jack of Waterford,Pa.; four step-great-grandchildren, Cohen Millspaw, Chase Millspaw, Emma McIntire, and Alexis McIntire; extended family, Tom and Darlene Elder, Betty Elder, Tiffany Burkell, Jeremy, Jennifer, Kaiya and Olivia Elder, Louise Yukon; and her very special friend, Jane Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Eastman; her parents; and a step-son, Robert Eastman.
A private graveside service will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Union City,Pa.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Nikole Groves and the staff at Groves Family Personal Care Home as well as Community Nursing of Northeast Hospice for all the wonderful care they provided Edith.

Edith was in my life when I was 10 years old and during my teen years. She was funny, encouraging, and a person of love. It was a blessing to know her.
