Duane L. Hamilton, 79, of Union City, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Titusville Area Hospital. He was born on March 29, 1942 in Oil City, Pennsylvania, a son of David Hamilton and Florence Grubbs Hamilton. He married Charlotte L. Barstow on October 22, 1966. He was a 1960 graduate of Spartansburg High School, and he served his country with the US Air Force from 1961-1965. Duane was previously employed with John Majerik as a milk hauler, but spent the past several decades being a jack-of-all-trades handyman to many. He attended Kelloggsville, Ohio United Methodist Church, and he was a member of the NRA, VFW, and a lifetime member of the American Legion. Duane enjoyed reading, woodworking, cooking, and traveling, but most of all he loved spending time with his family, grandchildren, and granddogs. He is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte of Union City; two daughters, Dawn Andrews and her husband David of Union City and Jennifer Tulino and her husband Todd of Ashtabula, Ohio; two grandchildren, Josh Maker of Chicago, Illinois and Tanner Tulino of Ashtabula; three sisters, Betty Peck of Corry, Joyce Capela and her husband Charles of Union City, and Carolyn Graham and her husband Phil of North East; a sister-in-law, Eleanor Hamilton of North East; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Duane was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David Hamilton; and three sisters, Eileen Rogers, Maxine Hunt, and Beverly Gray. Family and friends are welcome to call on Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 62 S. Main Street, Union City. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 pm with Pastor Julie Applegate of Kelloggsville, Ohio United Methodist Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Duane's memory to the Union City American Legion Post 237 Women’s Auxiliary or the Kelloggsville, Ohio United Methodist Church.
