Doreen N. Brown, 88, of Townville, passed away, Monday, September 14, 2015 at Crawford County Care Center. She was born on April 22, 1927 in Tidioute, Pennsylvania a daughter of Floyd J. Brown and Nanna Hopkins Brown. She married Charles E. Brown on August 3, 1946. He survives.
Doreen was a member of Townville Baptist Church.
She had been a nurse at Titusville and Meadville City Hospitals and employed by Sylvania in Pleasantville.
In addition to her husband, Charles of Townville; she is survived by a daughter, Barbara Warner and her husband Bud of Meadville; a son, Leslie Brown and his wife Bernita of Townville; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two sisters, Jean Rumbaugh and her husband James of Pleasantville and Phyllis Patterson of Diamond; and a brother, Donald Brown and his wife Joyce of Lakeland, Florida.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Burial will take place in Kingsley Cemetery, Townville.
The family would like to thank Crawford County Care Center and AseraCare Hospice for the care and compassion they provided for Doreen.
Doreen is in the care of Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Inc., 33353 N. Main Street, Townville.
