Donna J. Cline, 83, of Franklin, passed away at 12:40 a.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Sugar Creek Station.Born November 21, 1934 in Franklin, Donna was the daughter of the late Fred and Aura Osborne Stearns. She married Robert Cline on September 4, 1954, and he survives.Donna was the Secretary/Treasurer for 31 years for Sandycreek Township, and also worked at the McCandless Guest House for many years prior to her retirement. Donna was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Rocky Grove and attended the East Grove United Methodist Church for the past 13 years.Donna enjoyed cooking and redecorating her home. At Christmas time, she hosted "Open Houses" for her family and friends. She also enjoyed her working in her flower gardens and shopping. In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her daughter, Connie Cline, of Franklin; and her sister, Anna Mae Sauerland and her husband, Gus, of Oak Island City, NC. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Robert Fred Cline; and her foster brother, Paul Brown.Family and friends of Donna will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Monday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 11 a.m., with Reverend Drew Bell, pastor of East Grove United Methodist Church, officiating.
