Doug, Chris, Beth, and Lyn,
My sympathy and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. Your mom was a special friend to my mother . I remember your mom as my teacher( remember Beth) and also when I spent the nights she always made mush for breakfast. I never had it before. ( I think that is what it was called) . All my memories are happy ones of your mother. She was always happy and on the go.
Keep the memories close to you heart. Sincere sympathy , Pat
Lynn,Beth, and Doug, many many wonderful memories of Dianne, most especial over coffee those many years ago. Cincere sympathy. Chuck.
Lynne, Beth and Doug, my sincere, heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your mom. She was my fifth grade teacher, my substitute teacher and a very warm and genuine person that touched my life multiple times. Though I have not seen her in years, I will always have fond memories of her. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Chris
Teacher, trusted advisor, fellow catholic, friend
May you rest in peace
“Mrs. Merchbaker” was by far one of my favorite teachers. At St. Brigid’s school, she taught us so many life skills that I still remember to this day. To me, she was a “forward thinking” woman and I admired her so much. My deepest sympathy to Lynne, Beth and Doug. God bless you. Rose Rockafellow
Mrs. Merchbaker was our 4th and 5th grade teacher at St, Brigid’s. Of course Lynn was always in our class, so the Teacher, although she never showed any favoritism, was also always a Mom…to all of us.
She was a great teacher, keeping us on task with her sharp voice and penchant for organization, but she was always so human, and her sense of humor offered a welcome respite for her ‘kids.’
She taught us as students, but I think cared more about us as her kids.
Great and fond memories of a true classic. Her influence will be felt by all us, forever.
Thank you Mrs. Merchbaker for being you, and being here for us.
