Diane L. Otto, 67, of Nottoway, VA and formerly of Franklin, passed away on April 11th at St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond.Born May 8, 1948 in Franklin, Diane was the daughter of the late Thomas W. and Grace N. Mauk Watson. On June 25, 1966, Diane married John Otto, who survives. She had a doctorate of theology.Diane is survived by her husband: John; her sons: John Otto of CA, Robert Otto of IN, and Shaun Otto of VA; her daughters: Shannon McIntosh of MS and Heather Godwin of VA. She is additionally survived by her siblings: James R. Watson, and his wife, Becky, of Franklin; Randall P. Watson, and his wife, Rhonda, of Franklin; Thomas W. Watson, and his wife, Lori, of Jacksonville, FL; and Catherine G. Snyder of Franklin. Diane is my cousin. I have so many fond memories of her when we visited my aunt and uncle on Georgetown Road. Have not seen her for many years but I have thought about her and her siblings many times. Her mother and my father are brother and sister. Am sad to hear of her passing.
