David Paul Roscinski, Sr., 74, of Union City passed away on January 30, 2022 at the Rouse Home in Youngsville, PA. Born on April 11, 1947 in Erie, PA he was the son of the late Stanley and Francis (Bawol) Roscinski. David proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War era. On August 24, 1968, he married the love of his life, Karen Hiltabidel. She preceded him in death on August 27, 2021. David was a member of the VFW John Krohl Post 6773 and the American Legion LeBaron Post 237. An advocate of games, he enjoyed playing them with his family such as board games, dice and card games and although he was very competitive, he was, at times, a sore loser. He loved watching his favorite shows on TVLand and his scratch-off tickets. He had the biggest heart and would try to help anyone that needed it. Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Linda M. Brown and her husband,Troy, of Harrisburg and Krista L. Marzka and her husband, Brad, of Corry; his two sons, David P. Roscinski, Jr. and his wife, Melissa, and Dale C. Roscinski and his wife, Carol, all of Union City; his thirteen grandchildren; his sixteen great grandchildren; and many adopted children and grandchildren. He is further survived by his two sisters, Janet Hanes and her husband, David, and Judy Rood, all of Erie; and his nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to call on the Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 62 S. Main Street, Union City, PA on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 3 pm to 7 pm with the funeral service immediately following at 7 pm with Pastor George Tutor, Pastor of the Union City Church of the Nazarene, officiating.
