We are so sorry for your loss. May God’s love and the love of family and friends give you strength and peace.
Dave McCoy was not just my equipment dealer but also one of my best friends. I would go out to his store and him and I would talk for hours. I would talk the least that i could because I enjoyed sitting back and listening to his stories and advice both business and personal life wise. I always distance myself from other people. But with Dave and Carla i could not because they just felt so welcoming. Me and my wife’s hearts break thinking of Carla without Dave because they were and are such a strong team. Our thoughts and prayers are strong for Carla, Shane and Margy. Mr Dave McCoy I hope you fly high my friend as you will forever be missed in our hearts.
My sincere condolences to Carla, my childhood best friend, and all the McCoy family. Dave was in my Zelienople High School class of ’63. Carla and Dave were the perfect match from the beginning. Dave was so sweet and kind, and gentle and caring of others. It does not surprise me how much he was loved throughout his life. We were seated alphabetically in school, and Dave was often seated in front of me. We were friends during those years. What a guy! “I Can Only Imagine” an agape filled reunion in Heaven upon his arrival. Vivian Pallack

my Uncle Dave was a wonderful man who loved Christ and lived his daily life by his beliefs. He was so funny and could make everyone around him laugh. Him and Aunt Carla played important roles in my young life. I would visit in the summers and always had so much fun!! They opened their home for the greatest family reunions anyone has ever seen. My heart is not only broken from losing my precious Uncle but broken for my Aunt Carla, Margo, Shane and their families, prayers and love to all of you??

I have great memories of “Uncle Dave” taking me and other guys four wheeling (quad) at St Mary’s, PA. It was my first time and a blast. Other great memories include his bass voice, bear hugs, humor, love for the Lord and hospitality at his house for a fun filled weekend family reunion in August. Wishing much comfort and peace to Carla, Margo and Shane and the rest of the McCoy clan. – Hospice Chaplain Jimmy Fong

Dear Carla May,
While I Toronto last weekend, I ran into Tom and Marie Grant and learned of David’s passing. I am so sorry. You may not even remember me. We moved back to Rochester New York when we were nine. You came to visit us once….all so very long ago.
From all reports you have had a wonderful marriage and a great life together. I lost my husband 13 years ago and sincerely understand your loss.
You will be in my heart and in my prayers.

I received news of Dave’s passing very late. He was a good friend over the years from State Equipment to McCoy Equipment. It is with great sadness that I bear the news but I cherish the memories of his friendship. My prayers are with his family.
