Darlene Ruth Hollabaugh

Darlene Ruth Proper Hollabaugh, age 75, of Centerville, died Thursday, April 17, 2025 at her residence.

A daughter of Gard LaVerne and Alice Geneva Brown Proper, she was born on June 5, 1949 in Troy Township.

On June 10, 1967, she married Larry Lee Hollabaugh, who survives.

Mrs. Hollabaugh had been employed as a baker by the Warner Bakery in Titusville.

She was a member of the Troy Center Community Church.

Darlene enjoyed baking for everyone and spending time with her pets.

Surviving is her husband of over 57 years, Larry Lee Hollabaugh; four brothers, Willis Proper of Maryland, Ronald Proper and wife Patricia of Oil City, Kenneth Proper and wife Dottie of Norfolk, VA, Paul Proper and wife Karen of Kannapolis, NC; four sisters, Betty Botts of Norfolk, VA, Elaine Hutchison of Grove City, PA, Sherry Whitman and husband Charles of Titusville, Debra Proper and companion Charles McFeeters of Centerville; a special niece, Lore Mallory Ward of Townville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Bea Gilson, Clara Rasey, Dorothy Bills, Evelyn Mallory; two brothers, Larry and Eugene G. Proper.

Friends will be received from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 26, at the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home, 33353 North Main Street, Townville, PA. Funeral services will follow immediately at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Hellein of the Troy Center Community Church officiating.
