  1. I had the opportunity of working with Dale at Zurn Corporate Headquarters in the 1980s and 1990s. During that time Dale helped to manage the system software on IBM mainframes, manage personal computer software and hardware, and support the local computer network. After Zurn moved their headquarters to Dallas, Dale went to work for Lecom supporting their computer networks.

Outside work Dale was a Boy Scout Leader, a volunteer with the local fire department auxiliary, and helped with video broadcasting for local cable television. Dale was always able to strike up a conversation with strangers and after a few minutes he would discover that he knew someone they knew. His acquaintances included many of the local radio and tv personalities.

Despite complex relationships, Dale was always proud of his former wife’s craft skills and his two sons.

Dale was always willing to help someone else. Whether that was a ride, a place to live, or cash.

Like all of us, Dale was flawed but he expressed faith in Jesus and His forgiveness. May Dale rest in peace.
