Craig A. Krol, 55, of Union City, passed away, Friday, January 6, 2023. He was born in Union City, on November 5, 1967, a son of Thaddeus T. Krol and Barbara A. Allen Krol. He married Kerrie L. Weber on July 29, 2000, she survives.
Craig was a 1986 graduate of Seneca High School, and worked for G.E. Wabtec as a welder for over 30 years. He was Chief Union Steward of Building 5, a member of UE # 506, the Union City Moose Club, and the Union City American Legion. Craig enjoyed racing, hunting, camping, motorcycles, and loved watching his kids and grandkids play sports. He was also involved with Trail of Treats.
In addition to his wife, Kerrie; Craig is survived by his mother, Barbara A. Krol of Union City; two daughters, Sara E. Krol of Union City, and Donielle Betcher of Union City; two sons, Zack J. Betcher of Union City, and Jacob M. Betcher and his wife, Alisha of Union City; four grandchildren, Jayden, Easton, Grayson, and Lena Betcher; and two sisters, Beverly Weaver and her husband, Edward of Union City, and Susan Bierman of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thaddeus T. Krol; and grandparents, Otto and Arlowein Allen.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Monday, January 9th from 3pm-7pm at Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 62 S. Main Street, Union City. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 10th at 11am with Brett Wasson, brother in law of Craig, officiating.

Our deepest sympathy to the family, I’ll always have funny memories of Craig riding on the back of Howard’s golf cart as the Grinch at the Christmas in July at Harecreek campground. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Craig always made me smile whenever i saw him. He loved his kids and grandkids so much. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this hard time.
My condolences to the family. I didn’t know Craig but I do know Beverly and if he’s anything like his sister he was a good man. Again my condolences.

I worked with Craig at G.E. in building 5. He’s a great guy who always liked a good joke and was an excellent union stewart. Sadly missed until we all meet again.
