Connie L Sanner, 80, formerly of Pone Lane, passed away at 9:35 p.m. on Monday, January 5th at Sugarcreek Station, where she had resided for the past several years.Born April 2, 1934 in Franklin, Connie was the daughter of the Earl and Ethyl M. Swyers Bean. She married Raymond L. Sanner on October 30, 1965 and he preceded her in death in 1997.Connie was retired from Venango County where she worked as an Office Manager at the Magisterial Court in Franklin for numerous years. She was a member of the East Grove United Methodist Church. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family, especially cherishing the times she spent with her grandchildren.Connie is survived by her son, Barry D. McClain of Franklin; her daughter, Jamie R. Rybak and her husband, Michael, of Oil City; and her 2 grandchildren, Colby Jon and Casey Ray Rybak, both of Oil City.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald McClain, who passed away in 1963.Family and friends of Connie will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Saturday, January 10th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday, January 11th at 2 p.m. with Rev. Lea Guiney, pastor of East Grove United Methodist Church, officiating, and Rev. Randy Kightlinger, Venango County VNA Hospice Chaplain, co-officiating. Interment will be in Graham Cemetery.The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the East Grove United Methodist Church Building Fund - 1167 Belmar Road, Franklin PA 16323 and/or to the Venango VNA Foundation - 491 Allegheny Blvd., Franklin PA 16323.Family and friends are also invited to visit www.gardinierfuneralhome.com to send flowers, cards, online condolences or for further information.
