Connie L Roydes, 73, of Franklin, passed away September, 5th at 11:32 p.m. at The Caring Place in Franklin.Born September 30th, 1942, in Franklin, Connie was the daughter of the late Clarence and Helen Martin Kelly. She was a graduate from Franklin High School. On September 13th 1969, she married Richard Roydes, who preceded her in death on October 5th, 1992.Connie retired in 2001, after working for 35 years at the PA Department of Transportation.Connie was a member at the First United Methodist Church in Franklin. She also enjoyed NASCAR and collecting dolls.Connie is survived by her son, Jay Roydes, of Franklin; her grandson, Gary Graham, and great-grandson, Chase Graham, both of Franklin; her sister, Dorothy Brown and her husband, Robert "Ted"; her niece, Tammy Brown; as well as several other nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Russell "Paul" Kelly and Donald Kelly; and her sister, Lois Baker.Family and friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, PA on Thursday, September 8th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.Funeral services for Connie will be held at Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, September 9th, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jay and Family – I worked with Connie at Penndot – She will surely be missed. Prayers of comfort for you and your family.
