Christine E. Poindexter, 57, of Franklin, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, February 11th, 2018.She was born on August 6, 1960, to the late Jay D. and Mona Jean Scannell Poindexter Sr. in Franklin. Chris loved her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to bingo. She was always able to make people laugh. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Noah Plowman of Oil City, Quintin Williams of Franklin, Shawn Blair of Newport News, VA, and Kasee Poindexter of Franklin; the children that called Christine "Memaw", Riley Hunter, Jacob Plowman, Lilliana Plowman, Kalayah Pyle, Deetta Carr and Braelyn Carr. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews, Jacara Poindexter, Jayda Poindexter, Andrew Poindexter and Tessa Brick; her brothers, Clarence Lindsey of Franklin, William Lindsey of Seneca, Jay Poindexter and his wife, Pam of Franklin, Michael Poindexter of Franklin, as well as her sister, Regina Poindexter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Lindsey. The Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, PA has been entrusted with arrangements.A Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.Chris will be laid to rest with her mother and her sister at Franklin Cemetery.The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc. to help defray funeral expenses.   7. John and Sue Brick are so sorry for your loss but I am sure Chris is in a better place with our Lord. She has no more pain and the suffering is over. We did not know Chris that well but any time we were around her she was a very sweet and kind person. I am sure she is going to be missed by all but fill your memories of her with love and happy times.

  9. Chris always had a heart of gold! The times we shared shooting Pool I’ll cherish. She was always so full of life and fun to be around. I’ll never forget all of the talks we had over the summer. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends.

    • I didn’t make this! I would NEVER call her grandma…this was made when I was in fourth grade what 4th grader would said “remember don’t waste time”??
