Charlotte Eileen Glenn

Charlotte Eileen Glenn, 75, of Foster Road, Franklin, passed away at her residence on Thursday, January 13, 2011. Born in Franklin on January 13, 1936, Charlotte was the daughter of the late Edward C. and Pearl L. Buffum DeLong. She was married on June 3, 1953 to John D. Glenn, and he preceded her in death on January 12, 2010. Charlotte was a member of the Cooperstown Community Church of God. She worked at Venango Manor for several years and was also co-owner of Service Master Cleaning, prior to her retirement. She is survived by her four children, James Michael Glenn & his wife, Debra, of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Thomas Jay Glenn and his wife, Brenda, of Franklin, Pamela S. Glenn of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Karen K. Lawrence of Franklin; and her sister, Mary Lou Wilkins and her husband, Kenneth of Sebring, Florida. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Courtney Glenn of Cleveland, Ohio, Caitlin Glenn and Shauna Lawrence of Franklin, and Hannah Glenn of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and her great-grandson, Jacob Ryan Vath of Franklin. In addition to her parents and husband, Charlotte was preceded in death by her brother, Charles. Family and friends of Charlotte will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Sunday, January 16, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, January 17 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Barry Markle, pastor of the Cooperstown Community Church of God, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
