Sincere condolences to your entire family. Charlie was one of a kind, I worked with him when he was at Joy and he was truly a man of great moral character and was always proud to share his faith about our Lord Jesus. I was always amazed at his youthful spirit, love for our Lord and willingness to help anyone. He will be missed by all he touched in his life I am sure and we are all made better by knowing him.
Sincerely Terry and Tammy Thomas
Charlie was a wonderful man. Will miss seeing and talking to him around Franklin. Allan and I send our condolences.
Andy and Amy- Sorry for your loss I really liked your dad he was always very friendly to me and we always got a chuckle out of him never having the correct insurance card or not one at all for every inspection the past few years. Hopefully now he as well as all of you can be at peace. Love you guys Brandy and Billy Myers
So sorry to hear of Charley’s passing. I missed him on his trike at this year’s Bike Blessing in Tionesta, and the usual greeting we had for each other. Rest in peace Charley, I’m sure you’ll be riding in Heaven for eternity. Condolences to Charley’s family as well. God Bless all of you. -Gary Schill
So sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man. I grew up around the Oil City Cycle Club in which he was a part. My mom Carol Wice and step dad Jim were good friends of Charlie’s. He took me on his bike to the bike blessing in Tionesta a few years ago. He will be missed. Kelly Shrecengost
I had always admired the beautiful blue “trike” each time I saw it. When it appeared at the Blessing of the Bikes in Titusville, held at Grace Fellowship Church several years ago, I was so pleased to learn more about its owner and the time and great effort it took to build. Mr. Richey allowed me to sit on the seat and have a picture taken. I know that his desire to spread the great love of Jesus through his riding of that motorcycle touched many lives, as well as mine. May our Great God provide His comfort and peace to all of Mr. Richey’s loved ones.
I’m so sorry for your loss. We would have nice Bible conversations with him at McDonald’s in Franklin. No doubt your grief will be overwhelming at times. Please take to heart these words at Isaiah 31:10…”Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you,I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.”
Family and Friends of Charles Richey,
May God comfort and support you in the time of your loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. He was always supportive, encouraging and kind. He was without a doubt dedicated to his family. He was a man of integrity, wisdom and had a servants’ heart.
“Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14: 1 -3
May God Bless and Keep You,
Lou, Susan and Bethany Slautterback
