Carol Ruege, 62, previously of Sandy Lake, passed away on Thursday, July 26th, 2018 at the Trinity Living Center in Grove City.She was born to parents George Ruege and Doris Adams on May 18, 1956.Throughout her life, Carol loved many things, such as the Pittsburgh Steelers football team, working, enjoying life, and making latch hook rugs, but most of all she loved her family. She was especially fond of all of her nieces and nephews. Carol was equally as loved in return by everyone that knew her.Carol is survived by her brother, Jeffrey Ruege of Harmony; her nieces, Melissa Krizon, Robin Morton, Jennifer Trageser, Ellisha Keener, and Lisa Gonzalez; her nephew, Jason Keener; and all of her great-nieces and great-nephews.In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen Keener and her husband, Dave.As per the family's request, services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, has been entrusted with arrangements.The family requests that memorial contributions be made to help defray funeral expenses to the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc. and are invited to visit www.gardinierfuneralhome.com to send online condolences.
