Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. For the past couple of years I sat behind Blanche at the 8:15 service at Christ United Methodist Church, and always took a few minutes to talk with her. She was consistently cheerful and upbeat, greeting everyone with a smile. One recent Sunday it was raining after the service and I asked if I could give her a ride home; her response was “Oh no, thank you, but I enjoy the walk and I don’t mind getting a little wet.”

  2. So many memories and emotions are running through me. May your memories help you through this difficult time. Hugs and prayers for you and yours. Joanne Bryan Maynard

  3. We are so saddened to read of Blanche’s passing. She was an amazing lady with a true heart of gold. …. ever the care taker. We are sure the angles will be welcoming her with open, loving arms. Our hearts and love to her entire family. Sandy and Fred Chlopecki

  4. Beautiful woman of God and Beautiful smile??. Kindness magnified! Remembering her puts a smile on my face. God’s comfort to all her family and those that loved her. Peace Mary Ahlquist Hofer

  5. Blanche was our next-door neighbor in Maplewood (Doylestown)and we loved her dearly. For more than sixty years we have kept up an annual correspondence, sharing our family news. A few years ago we had a delightful visit with her in Warren. She was the same caring person we knew so many years ago, always helping others and still doing that meticulous ironing!! Unfortunately I couldn’t be there at White Marsh, but wish to extend my heartfelt sympathy to Roger, Kathy and Ginny and their families from all of mine. Sincerely, Elizabeth Crooke
